HEALTH PROMOTION SCHOOL
We have decided that we are going to become a Health Promotion School. Nuala Harper from the H.S.E. came and gave a presentation on how to achieve this. It involves an organized process, involving staff, students and members of the community. We have already been presented with a banner to inform everybody that this is taking place. As a staff we are very much aware that Mental Health is an extremely important issue and that as part of the promotion we would very much like to incorporate this. On achieving the title of Health Promotion school we will be presented with a flag.
TIPPERARY WATER

The children will participate in dance lessons next term courtesy of Sineád Fortune. A massive thank you to Sineád. Our Walk on Wednesday initiative is still running and all students are asked to make an effort to walk or cycle to school, weather permitting.
SING OUT LOUD
The children in Miss Dawson’s classroom recently took part in the Sing Out Loud concert in the National Opera House. The concert was a resounding success and the children should be very proud of the effort they put in. The performance was outstanding and memorable.

A Fire Drill took place in the school in recent weeks. I can’t emphasis enough the importance of safety both during school and outside of school hours. Please ensure your children are safe coming to and from school.
