• Please ensure that all children arrive at the school no sooner than 9.20am as their will be no supervision prior to this time.

• The children from 3rd & 4th class will take part in the FAI Futsal soccer blitz on Friday 27th October in St. Joseph’s Hall in Wexford from 10am – 2pm. Students are required to wear runners and shin guards. Offers of lifts would be welcome.


• The children will attend a production by West Midlands Production in Galbally hall on Wednesday 21st November at 12.45pm. The show costs €4.20 per child and will be one hour long.

• We were sorry to say goodbye to Rachel who has got a full time job in Ramsgrange NS. We wish her the best of luck in her new position. Sandra Roche is subbing until 27th October. The new SNA will start on November 6th.

• Aoife Dunne is working in a temporary position as a replacement for Honor. The new teacher will commence their position on 6th November.

• The children are doing Gaelic Football this term on Tuesday mornings. This will finish on Tuesday 24th October.

• The students have started the Food Dudes project. They will get fruit and veg provided for them from Bord Bia. Rewards and certificates will be given to the children for their participation.

• The children will design their own Christmas cards again this year.

• There will be pumpkin carving on Thursday October 26th in the classes. A draw for the two pumpkins will take place on Friday 27th October.

• Our annual Hallowe’en mask competition will also take place on Thursday 26th October. The children will make their masks at home from recyclable materials.

• An appointment can be made if parents wish to discuss their child/children with the relevant teacher by phone or by writing a note in their homework journal.

• School finishes for the midterm break on Friday October 27th at 3.10pm and will return on Monday November 6th.
